Five leading jewelry designers will create pearl jewelry for IRIDESSE

IRIDESSE, the new Tiffany & Co. retail venture specializing in pearls and pearl jewelry, will collaborate with five leading jewelry designers. The designers: Erica Courtney, Chrissie Douglas of Colman Douglas Pearls, Anthony-Nak, Christian Tse, and Gabrielle Sanchez, will partner with and create cultured pearl jewelry designed exclusively for IRIDESSE.

“We are confident that the designs of each of these talents will be a fantastic addition to the IRIDESSE collection and further enhance the opportunity for every woman to enjoy cultured pearl jewelry for every occasion from IRIDESSE,” said Bob Cepek, president of IRIDESSE.

IRIDESSE stores will showcase a comprehensive range of pearl types, including South Sea, Tahitian, Akoya, and Freshwater. Pearls being sold will include classic styling of the traditional pearl strand and the creative use of the enormous variety of pearl shapes and colors in everyday/casual pearl jewelry collections. Approximate price points will range from slightly under $100 to $40,000.

IRIDESSE, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tiffany & Co., will be opening two stores in fall of 2004 at Tyson’s Corner in McLean, VA and The Mall at Short Hills in Short Hills, N.J.
