Why Jewelry Lovers Keep Snapping Up Advent Calendars

Share

Brands including Jane Win, Astrid & Miyu, and Olive & Piper sell jewelry Advent calendars for a very simple reason: People who buy jewelry love surprises, especially when there’s something unique about the pieces inside the box.

While one box of jewelry is wonderful on any given day of the year, a 12- or 24-piece series of surprises around the holidays is even better, these brands agree. Jewelry Advent boxes are one of the season’s most cherished rituals, Trisha Condra, group senior vice president of merchandising at JTV Jewelry Television tells JCK.

“They take the childhood thrill of counting down to the holidays and dress it in sparkle, turning weeks in December into a daily celebration,” Condra says. “For the gifter, it’s a nearly foolproof way to delight someone who has everything.

“For the self-purchaser, it’s the ultimate indulgence: a countdown of 24, 12, or even fewer small moments of joy, each a wearable surprise that outlasts the day it’s revealed. Add the ritual of the daily unboxing, and the anticipation becomes half the pleasure,” she explains.

Astrid Miyu Advent
Astrid & Miyu offer a 12-day ($535) and a 24-day ($1,080) Advent calendar, each including with a curated mix of earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets.

At JTV, there are two ways to make jewelry an Advent tradition in 2026. The first is the Martha Stewart Everyday Jewelry Advent calendar, which turns a 12-day countdown into a creative project. You build your own holiday charm bracelet or necklace, as both are included, adding one new charm each day until the design is complete.

For the modern, contemporary jewelry lovers, JTV is offering Jedora’s interpretation of an Advent calendar, with trend-forward styles made for shoppers who love to mix, layer, and make a statement, Condra shares.

Other Advent jewelry boxes vary in size, duration, and variety. Olive & Piper’s limited-edition Wonder Box comes out November 5. Its curated selection of jewelry includes three new styles—which the jewelry brand says you can open once a day or all at once if you just can’t stand the anticipation.

Missoma has three editions of its much-anticipated Advent calendars this year. Its selections in gold ($356), silver ($342), and solid gold ($1,850) all include velvet jewelry boxes and dated pouches for each of the six pieces included.

Jane Win advent
This year’s Jane Win Advent calendar includes five never-seen-before pendants, two sets of earrings, two bracelets, two fashion chains, and a new 28-inch box chain.

At Astrid & Miyu, its Advent calendars have become a yearly sell-out five years in a row. This year’s collection includes 12-day ($535) and 24-day ($1,080) calendars, each with a mix of earrings, rings, necklaces, and bracelets.

Jane Win is offering its fourth Advent calendar, and its other iterations have sold out in less than a week each time the brand does them. This year, the gift set valued at $2,298 includes five never-before-seen pendants, two sets of earrings, two bracelets, a new 28-inch box chain, and two fashion chains. It all comes in a printed reusable box with individual storage pouches for each piece.

Another fun option is the Orelia 25 Days of Ear Stacking Advent Calendar, which includes six pairs of hoops, four pairs of studs, and six single studs in either gold or silver. You can wear each one individually or fully ear-scape your piercings. It comes in silver or 18k gold plated. Both sell for $168.

And, if you need more to consider, Gemmology Rocks is doing its fifth Gemstone Advent Calendar featuring 24 reclaimed gemstones alongside an interactive educational course for the gemology-curious on your gift list.
