To honor its 20th anniversary, Brilliant Earth is expanding into a new category, introducing a limited-edition watch collection called Solstice.

A total of 100 timepieces of the two Solstice models will be available, according to Brilliant Earth, a diamond jewelry specialist. The San Francisco–based brand is working with Louis Erard, an independent Swiss watchmaker with nearly 100 years of experience, on the new collection.

Brilliant Earth’s watches, now available on the company’s website and in select Brilliant Earth showrooms, are Summer Solstice ($3,995), which has a moss green dial and brown leather strap, and the Winter Solstice ($4,995), featuring a white dial with lab-grown baguette diamond markers. The 65 Summer watches and 35 Winter timepieces are individually numbered and include a certificate of authenticity.

Brilliant Earth worked with independent Swiss watch brand Louis Erard to make the first two watches in its new Solstice collection.

Brilliant Earth CEO Beth Gerstein, who cofounded the brand in 2005 with Eric Grossberg, said the publicly traded company built itself on the business of marking life’s most meaningful moments. These watches fulfill that mission as well.

“A timepiece…doesn’t just mark the moment; it measures every one that follows,” Gerstein said in a statement. “We are thrilled to introduce this limited-edition collection to both commemorate our 20-year history and to enter a new category that consumers have been asking us to do for years.”

She added that Solstice reflects the same values that have guided every decision she and Grossberg have made since starting the company: intentional design, responsible sourcing, and an obsessive attention to detail.

The Winter Solstice has a medallion-inspired, textured face, a proprietary Sol motif embossed crown, and a green calfskin strap. The Summer Solstice watch has an exhibition caseback and a polished stainless steel case.
