Academy Award–winning actress Julianne Moore (pictured) is Messika’s latest global ambassador, cementing a longtime partnership between Moore and the Paris-based high jewelry brand.
“Julianne is the very epitome of modern allure—powerful, intelligent and deeply luminous. She has that rare presence that is both timeless and strikingly contemporary,” Messika founder and artistic director Valérie Messika said in a statement. “From the moment we first met, the connection was immediate. Julianne speaks in emotion and light. As do our diamonds.”
She says that Moore’s presence last fall at the opening of Messika’s Madison Avenue boutique in New York captured the brand’s essence: modern glamour, quiet confidence, and an elegance that carries unmistakable strength. Moore wore the Move necklace, one of Messika’s signature pieces, in her 2018 film Gloria Bell.
As a maison ambassador, the actress will represent Messika in marketing campaigns and international appearances, embodying a vision of femininity that the brand describes as bold, free, and always in motion. The first visuals from Moore’s initial campaign will be released in April.
Messika has worked with other celebrities in recent years, including Kendall Jenner, Chinese actor Gong Jun, opera singer Nadine Sierra, and models Alton Mason and Pan Haowen.
