SRK Presented With Climate Change Award

Mumbai-based Shree Ramkrishna Exports (SRK) was recently honored by the Gujarat government’s Department of Climate Change, receiving a 2024–25 Climate Change Award from cabinet minister Shri Mulubhai Bera during a ceremony held at Dwarka Hall in Surat.

“This award is not just recognition of our efforts, but also a responsibility to inspire the industry and society at large,” said Nirav Mandir, chief human capital and sustainability officer for SRK, when accepting the award. “At SRK, we believe natural diamonds should sparkle with purity, beauty, and a promise to protect our planet. Gujarat’s visionary step of creating Asia’s first Climate Change Department resonates deeply with our philosophy, and this award motivates us to further strengthen our commitment to sustainability and climate resilience.”

Hari Krishna Exports Wins Environmental Stewardship Award

At Jewellery & Gem World Hong Kong earlier this month, Hari Krishna Exports received the 2025 Environmental Stewardship Award.

The Jewellery World Awards honored the company for its contributions to upholding the U.N. sustainable development goals “Life Below Water” and “Life Beyond Land” through its philanthropic arm Dholakia Foundation. Hari Krishna Exports was specifically recognized for its work in restoring ecosystems such as Bharatmata Sarovar, Kalway River, and Saraswati River, three bodies of water in Gujarat.

“My father always said, ‘Keep two things in business: honesty and hard work,’” said Ghanshaym Dholakia, founder and managing director of Hari Krishna Exports, when accepting the award. “At Hari Krishna Exports, we live by that every day, from providing meals to our 9,000 family members to rejuvenating lakes and planting millions of trees. Our efforts in sustainability are reflected in every diamond we craft—because when we care for the land, happiness shines through in the final product.”
