If you collect and wear antique or vintage jewelry or watches, the new Wolf x Liberty collection seems like the ideal storage that blends functionality with Liberty’s famous art nouveau-inspired motifs.
The collaboration between the two British brands blends nostalgic beauty with contemporary functionality, says Wolf CEO Simon Wolf V.
“For 150 years, Liberty has had the same core values that were infused into the business by Arthur Lasenby Liberty all those years ago. It is those core values, to create something different, unique and beautiful, that are similar to us at Wolf,” Simon Wolf V says.
“It is because of these values, it felt apt that we got together to create a special collection. A collection that combines the beautiful designs of Liberty with the quality and attention to detail of Wolf’s handmade jewelry cases, and has resulted in a collaboration that has been extra special,” he adds.

Liberty is an esteemed London-based department store and design house that is known for its history, charm, and archival prints. Arthur Lasenby Liberty started the company in 1875, and it is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year.
As part of that celebration, Liberty looked to work with partners like Wolf to share its archival prints and contemporary designs, the brand said. Throughout the year, Liberty will be hosting exhibitions, art installations, and additional exclusive products and collaborations to honor its founder and current work.
The Wolf x Liberty collection includes three colorways in large and medium jewelry boxes, travel cases and portfolios, and watch rolls. The color offerings are a perky sage, a warm navy, and a deep burgundy, all embossed with Liberty motifs and interior printed details. Prices range from $209 for a travel jewelry box to $1,139 for a large jewelry box.
What has made this collection a standout for jewelry lovers and a favorite on social media since its debut Sept. 2 is its Liberty look. The Wolf x Liberty pieces use two Liberty prints. The first is its iconic Ianthe, a Liberty design in the art nouveau style from the early 20th century created by French artist René Beauclair.

The other is the 1930s-inspired floral print Julia, which offers a sentimental, quintessentially Liberty feel to the collection, according to Pere Bruach, design manager at Liberty.
“The Wolf x Liberty collection celebrates collaboration, craftsmanship, and thoughtful curation,” Bruach said in a statement. “As a designer, I was particularly inspired by the metalwork and jewellery of Archibald Knox, a renowned figure in Liberty’s design legacy, as well as by our founder Arthur Lasenby Liberty’s deep-rooted passion for collecting decorative objects, textiles, and curiosities.”
Every piece in the Wolf x Liberty collection is made using sustainable, bio-based materials, Wolf says. They are finished with gold or silver hardware. And they all feature Wolf’s patented LusterLoc technology, which the brand says protects jewelry from tarnishing for up to 35 years.
Wolf and Liberty hosted a launch party for the collaboration on Sept. 3 at the Century Club in London. Guests in attendance heard from Simon Wolf V and Liberty’s design director, Mary-Ann Dunkley, as they spoke about the collaboration and how it came to fruition.
