Trading Day and Mixer Held in L.A.

The Diamond Club West Coast, in collaboration with several other industry organizations—including Jewelers of America, the Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association, the Los Angeles chapter of the Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA), and Polygon—hosted a trading day and evening party in downtown Los Angeles on Aug. 18.

Over 300 retailers, suppliers, and buyers from California as well as New York and other states spent the day meeting with 35 exhibitors showcasing diamonds, gemstones, contemporary and vintage jewelry, watches, and industry services.

“Trading day was the perfect opportunity to not only discover new inventory but to strengthen relationships with trusted partners,” said Amit Verma of the Verma Group, one of the participating vendors. “There’s nothing like connecting in person with peers who understand the challenges and opportunities of our industry.”

The daytime event was followed by the 5th annual Mega Mixer Summer Soiree, held at Casa Ipanema restaurant and sponsored by Krainz Creations.

“The Mega Mixer continues to be one of the most anticipated events of the year,” said Cheryl Freund, WJA Los Angeles copresident, in a statement.” It’s a place where jewelers from every corner of the industry come together to celebrate, share ideas, and build lasting connections.”
