Centurion Jewelry 2014 Retailers Honor 12 in Design Contest

Designs from 12 exhibitors at Centurion 2014, held Feb. 1–5, in Scottsdale, Ariz., have received recognition by retailer attendees in the Centurion Design Awards.

Retailers could vote on their favorite looks in 12 different categories, and makers were not identified, though materials used to make pieces were. Winners were announced at the annual awards dinner, sponsored by Veranda magazine, on Monday, Feb. 3.

Winners are as follows:

Bridal

A. Link & Co. won for a shared prong halo-style engagement ring in platinum with diamonds and special detailing on the shank.

Colored Stone Classic

Jack Abraham won for a Thai ruby in a platinum and 18k yellow gold ring.

Colored Stone Fashion

Spark Creations won for a necklace with a 38.3 ct. Ethiopian opal, 9.79 ct. spessartite garnet, and 2.21 cts. t.w. diamonds, and yellow gold accents.

Rebecca’s cuff of 24k rose gold over bronze with shimmering accents

Diamond Classic

William Levine won for a platinum bracelet with 10.19 cts. t.w. cushion-cut diamonds with 1.34 cts. t.w. diamonds.

Diamond Fashion

Siera Jewelry won for an 18k white gold necklace with diamonds and onyx.

Gold

Heather Moore won for a 14k yellow gold locket ring with a 14k white gold raised date and interior plate and a channel-set diamond hinged cap.

Mixed Precious Metals

Arman Sarkisyan of Arman won for his Sacred Heart necklace in 22k gold with oxidized silver, diamonds, rose-cut diamonds, rubellite, kyanite, and sapphires.
