Alan Cohen, a 35-year industry veteran, is joining the company as vice president of sales
Lisa Bissell, the former Fabrikant executive who headed Pure Grown Diamonds for the last two years, has left the company, a spokesperson confirmed to JCK.
The company has also hired Alan Cohen, a 35-year industry veteran, as vice president of sales.
Bissell’s two-year contract had come up, the company said. The lab-grown diamond distributor, formerly known as Gemesis, did not offer any word on her replacement.
Bissell tells JCK: “I am proud of my accomplishments over the last two years, branding the product and making it ubiquitously known within the industry and with consumers.”
Pure Grown Diamonds director Suraj Mehta said in a statement, “With [vice president of sales] Gary Coleman and Alan Cohen, supported by the Pure Grown Diamond team at our New Jersey office, we plan to aggressively pursue our current trajectory and look forward to making some exciting announcements at the upcoming JCK show.”
