The Indian Diamond & Colorstone Association has elected Ashok Sancheti, president of Pioneer Gems, to be its president for 2016.
Rakesh Barmecha, Niru NY, will serve as the group’s new vice president; Jay Mehta, Amikam, secretary; Nirav Doshi, Jewelex NY, treasurer; and Prateek Nigam, Oriental Gemco NY, joint secretary.
The group’s new board consists of Shailesh Jhalani, Alok Mehta, Atit Mehta, Rajeev Pandya, Neeraj Rawat, Neil Savalia, Mehul Shah, Rayaz Takat, and Nilesh Sheth.
