Gregg Ruth Leaves Namesake Company

Gregg Ruth has left the Malibu, Calif.–based jewelry company that bears his name and will be replaced by Stuller veteran Daniel P. Schneider (pictured, right).

A release from company owner KGK said Ruth was leaving to “pursue other business opportunities.” He founded the company in 1981.

Schneider, formerly director of strategic sales and market development at Stuller, will join the company as president and CEO effective immediately.

“He will be responsible for managing the company’s growth, while prioritizing strategic and tactical efforts in a fluid and competitive North American market,” said Sanjay Kothari, KGK vice chairman, in a statement. He added, “I have nothing but the greatest respect for Gregg Ruth and thank him for his leadership and service to the company.”
