Hand-Holding Key to Healthy Relationship, According to New Survey From Forevermark

Americans believe hand-holding makes relationships stronger, according to a survey conducted by Forevermark as part of its Hold My Hand Forever campaign.

The company launched the campaign in October, encouraging couples to share their hand-holding moments on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram using the #HoldMyHandForever hashtag.

The survey found that 94 percent of Americans in a committed relationship believe that regularly holding hands strengthened the relationship. The survey also found that couples who held hands often (four to seven days per week) believe their relationship will last twice as long as those who hold hands zero to three days per week. A whopping 96 percent of respondents agreed that when their partner reached for their hand, their mood immediately improved. (Perhaps good statistics for jewelers to remind customers of when buying rings!)

A photography event featuring hand-holding portraits of real-life couples will take place at Highline Studios in New York City on Nov. 18.

Promise to help them become all they were meant to be. #HoldMyHandForever

When you find someone special, take their hand and never let go.
