Apple Watch Reportedly Debuting in Spring, Indicating Delay

The Apple Watch will debut in spring 2015, later than the original release date for the much-anticipated high-tech timepiece, a report said.

According to 9to5Mac, Apple senior vice president of retail Angela Ahrendts told store employees in a video message that “we’re going into the holidays, we’ll go into Chinese New Year, and then we have a new watch launch coming in the spring.”

Apple has previously said the wearable device will launch “early next year.” Spring starts on March 20, 2015, and Chinese New Year is on Feb. 19.
