Former Bachelorette Debuts Jewelry Line

Although reality TV love may be fleeting, jewelry is forever according to Emily Maynard, star of The Bachelorette’s eighth season.

After showcasing her trendy style on the hit ABC show, Maynard debuted her own jewelry line with North Carolina–based Towne & Reese in mid-July. “The line started over girl talk,” Maynard says. “I never thought it would turn into something this big.”

The collection features earrings, necklaces, and rings, made with silver, brass, and colorful stones and beading, with prices ranging from $30 to $130. The pieces are available on emilymaynard.com. “I worked with a sketch artist in Rhode Island,” Maynard says. “I was involved with everything down the packaging.”

Maynard revealed that the accessories she can’t live without are stackable bangles. “I always have an armful of bracelets,” she says. But the line’s biggest fan may be Maynard’s 8-year-old daughter, Ricki, who got to name each of the pieces after her friends. “It was really fun for her,” Maynard says. “She wears the beaded bracelets everyday.”

And what about the show that made her famous? When asked if she thinks this season’s Bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock, will receive the Neil Lane bauble on the August 5’s season finale, Maynard says, “I’ve been watching at home like everyone else. I’m hoping Des finds love. She’s the sweetest girl.”
