Santosh Kedia has resigned from the board of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre, after his name appeared in a press account about offshore accounts, or so-called “offshore leaks.”
“In the interest of the integrity of the Antwerp World Diamond Centre as an organization and the industry as a whole, Kedia has taken the initiative to withdraw from the AWDC Board of Directors, awaiting the outcome of a potential investigation,” said a group statement.
The press source was not identified. Kedia could not be reached for comment at press time.
