Macy’s Closing Six Stores This Year

Macy’s announced it will close six stores this spring, part of what it called “normal course adjustments” to its lineup.

The following Macy’s stores will be closed: Paseo Colorado, Pasadena, Calif.; downtown Honolulu; downtown St. Paul, Minn.; Belmont, Mass.; and downtown Houston.

The company is also closing a Bloomingdale’s Fashion Show Home Store in Las Vegas.

When these closings are completed, Macy’s will operate 798 stores in the United States. Bloomingdale’s will have a total of 37 full-line and home stores, as well as 13 Bloomingdale’s Outlet stores.
