What’s Selling in Stores: Women’s Watches

We asked four retailers located in four corners of the country to share their best-selling women’s watches this week.

South

J. Keith’s Jewelry, Lubbock, Texas White Plasteramic band crystal bezel ToyWatch, $295. “ToyWatch has been around for a while, but it always sells well. The quality is really great and it’s appropriate for any age,” says sales representative Kaitlien Magnus. “The Plasteramic is durable without being heavy. This watch in particular is clean, crisp, and easy to wear in any season.”

West

Jackson Jewelers, Salem, Ore. Ladies 31mm Rolex Datejust Oyster Perpetual Steel & Everose Gold with 24 diamonds set in Bezel, 11 diamonds set on chocolate roman dial, and Oyster bracelet, $11,000–$15,000. “Rolex as a brand is recognized worldwide as a high-quality, technologically advanced heirloom timepiece that rewards its wearers with great looks and durability,” says marketing coordinator Sydney Lathrop. “Our customers see their Rolex purchases as great investment pieces with timeless style.”

North

Prescott Miller Jewelers, Greendale, Wis. Bulova Accutron stainless steel with three-prong crystals, $550. “We’re the only carriers of Bulova in the Milwaukee area, so exclusivity is definitely important,” says co-owner Kathleen Schnagl. “The inner workings of these watches are higher-end because they’re Swiss made. The designs are elegant and hip.”

Central

Chesterfield Jewelers, Chesterfield, Mo. Citizen Eco-Drive rose gold–tone stainless steel with Swarovski crystal bezel, $295. “Large faces are very popular. Also, with the change of seasons, people have gotten into the rose and yellow gold,” says owner Ronald Hurst.
