Fossil Vice Chairman to Retire, Join Company’s Board

On Oct. 9, Fossil announced that Mark Quick will retire as vice chairman, but will join the company’s board of directors effective Oct. 26.

“The past 17 years of working with our incredible Fossil team have been the most rewarding time of my career,” said Quick in a statement. “I am excited to stay connected with Fossil’s success story through my Board appointment.”

Quick joined the company in 1995 and has held a number of senior leadership positions. He has served as vice chairman since January 2007. Quick’s responsibilities will be assigned to other senior executives.

“Mark’s contributions and accomplishments over the last 17 years have been an instrumental part of the growth of Fossil,” Mr. Kosta Kartsotis, the company’s chairman and CEO, said in a statement. “We look forward to Mark taking a new role as a Fossil board member.”
