In September 2012, Tiffany & Co. will open its third store in New York City, in the city’s Soho district.
The 7,000-square-foot store will occupy a space combining two locations—97 Greene Street and 106 Wooster Street.
The opening corresponds with the 175th anniversary of Tiffany’s founding on Lower Broadway, which was followed by a move to Broadway at Prince Street in the 1850s.
“Opening a store in the neighborhood where Charles Lewis Tiffany developed his growing enterprise is a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary,” said Beth Canavan, executive vice president of Tiffany & Co., in a statement.
