Pandora announced Dec.
7 the company’s latest digital enhancements include its recently launched
iPhone application and a bracelet building Facebook application.
Pandora’s first iPhone app gives consumers the ability to
share their favorite Pandora fine jewelry pieces via Facebook, e-mail, or by
adding it to their personalized Pandora wish list online.
The Pandora Bracelet
Designer, a bracelet building Facebook application, offers the company’s
Facebook fans the ability to select charms from the Moments Collection to
create a personalized charm bracelet and share their bracelet designs. The application tracks the cost of each
charm selected along with the total cost of the bracelet. Once a bracelet is designed, consumers
can share comments and “like” designs of other fans as well as view
international and local top ten charts listing the bracelet designs that have
received the most “likes” and bracelets with the most comments. The application
also allows users to share their personal story by assigning emotional values
such as romance, hope, or respect to each charm.
