LVMH: Watch, Jewelry Revenue Jumps ‘Record’

LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton’s watch and jewelry group’s revenue jumped a
record 29% in the first nine months of 2010, the company reported.
 
“TAG Heuer continued its successful worldwide expansion and benefited from the
new models launched for its 150th anniversary celebration,” it said. “Hublot
gained market share due to the excellent performance of its Big Bang and King
Power lines. Zenith’s new collections were very favorably received.”
 
Also enjoying strong growth were “jewelry brands Chaumet, Fred and De Beers,”
the company said.
 
The watch and jewelry group recorded 687 million Euros in revenue for the first
nine months, or approximately $966 million.

Overall, the company
reported revenue of 14.2 billion Euros (approx. $19.9 billion) in the first
nine months of 2010, an increase of 19% compared to the same period in 2009.
