In a sentimental move to promote charm bracelets, Rembrandt sponsored Mother’s Love, a Mother’s Day competition.
Throughout May, the company received more than 150 entries for the competition, in which consumers were asked to write the story of their mother’s life using up to 10 Rembrandt charms.
After the success of the Mother’s Day competition, Rembrandt announced a similar, yearlong contest entitled The Story of Your Life. Each month, one winner will be chosen to win a sterling-silver charm bracelet that describes his or her life story. The contest is being promoted in a national consumer advertising campaign.
