Alan Kaufman of Tru-Kay Manufacturing Co., Providence, R.I., has been elected president of the Plumb Club of New York State. Kaufman also has served as chairman of the Manufacturing Jewelers & Suppliers of America Inc., and chairman of the Jewelers Board of Trade. Other elected officers for the year 2001 include Victor Weinman, vice president; Rachel Wertheimer, treasurer; and Michael Kaplan, secretary.
