Julie Livingston, a jewelry industry publicist, media spokesperson, and retail educator, has launched Luxury Marketing Group (LMG), a public relations agency serving the luxury sector. Services include strategic planning, brand image development, editorial placements, retail sales education, and special events. The company’s list of clients includes the World Gold Council, Piaget, Clarins USA, Elara Diamonds, and Grunberger Jewelers. Prior to 1991, Livingston launched Liz Claiborne’s line of fashion jewelry and served as a publicist and spokesperson for the World Gold Council.
Livingston is on the board of the Women’s Jewelry Association and is actively involved in New York Women In Communications and the Fashion Group International. She teaches public relations at Pace University where she is an adjunct instructor.
