‘Leading Jeweler’ Honored

Leading Jewelers of the World recently announced that charter member Clayton Bromberg, president of Underwood Jewelers, Jacksonville, Fla., had been inducted into the National Jewelers Retailer Hall of Fame.

Established in 1989, the Hall of Fame honors retail executives who are active in the jewelry industry and have made substantial contributions to its growth and success. In addition, inductees must have exhibited outstanding business achievement, industry involvement, leadership, and integrity, as well as meaningful local community activity.

Bromberg has served as president of the American Gem Society and vice chairman of the board of Jewelers of America and is currently serving as a member of the executive committee of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee.
