The necklace worn by First Lady Laura Bush during this year's inaugural balls in January (Fashion Facets, JCK, April 2001, p. 62) was manufactured by A. Link, New York, and provided to her by Vickie Roan, owner of The Menagerie in Austin, Texas. The piece was a 3-prong, graduated platinum necklace with 110 round diamonds, with a total of 16.09 cts., according to Jeffrey Link, of A. Link. In last month's "What's New Business Services" (JCK, June 2001, p. 312) we neglected to provide information on how to purchase the book Twenty Ways to Pop the Question. For information, call (800) 338-5831, e-mail: daver@richspeaking.com, Web site: www.richspeaking.com/romance_consultant/pop.htm. At the recent JCK Show in Las Vegas, a caption in the Sunday edition of the Show Daily misidentified the booth shown in the photo below. The photo shows the AquaMarin booth.
