BOSTON JEWELERS CLUB ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

At the 112th meeting of the Boston Jewelers Club, Fredric J. Hammerle of the Stern Metals Group was elected the 50th president of the 150-member jewelry organization. Matthew A. Runci of Jewelers of America was elected vice president, and Robert W. Paul, former president of the Jewelers Board of Trade, was elected secretary-treasurer.

Hammerle has been in the precious metals industry for 33 years and is executive vice president and chief operating officer of Stern Metals, a subsidiary of Cookson Group plc. Runci is executive director of Jewelers of America and former president and executive director of Manufacturing Jewelers and Suppliers of America.
