Audemars Piguet Supports Breast Cancer Research

Swiss luxury watchmaker Audemars Piguet announced in August an exclusive, first-time partnership with cosmetics leader Estée Lauder and lifestyle expert Colin Cowie to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. In 2003, the watchmaker and cosmetics firm will be involved in special events, organized by Cowie, to raise money for the Foundation.

Announcement of the partnership was made in New York City at a luncheon attended by a number of celebrities and executives to introduce Audemars Piguet’s new “Promesse” women’s watch collection.

Among those attending were George-Henri Meylan, chief executive officer of Audemars Piguet & Cie; François-Henry Bennahmias, president of Audemars Piguet North America; Evelyn Lauder, senior corporate vice president of The Estée Lauder Companies and founder and chairman of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation; Peter Lichtenthal, senior vice president of global marketing for Estée Lauder; Cowie; and Myra Biblowit, president of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
