Attendance at Spring 2004 Atlanta Jewelry Show Breaks Record

The Atlanta Jewelry Show, held in February, enjoyed a record 11% increase in attendance, resulting in the highest attendance numbers in more than a decade. Contributing to the increase was the launch of the Southern Jewelry Travelers Association (SJTA) buyer loyalty program, "You Buy, You Fly," which attracted many first-time buyers as well as return attendees seeking to earn Delta SkyMiles based on orders written at the show. During the show, the program awarded more than 2.3 million Delta SkyMiles. Among the highlights was the SJTA U educational program, which included a full day of education prior to the show covering visual gem identification techniques and quality control.
