Ze collection and ‘Lucky’ magazine partner in jewelry contest

“Lucky” magazine has partnered with fine-jewelry manufacturer I.B. Goodman Company to create an exclusive contest that will reward the winner with a jewelry wardrobe valued at more than $10,000.

The manufacturer of fine jewelry for men and women in the U.S. joined forces with the publication to promote the designer Ze collection in the “Lucky Breaks” section of the November issue.

The contest requires Lucky readers to describe in a 100-word essay how they would “Dress Up A Little Black Dress” with jewelry from the Ze collection. The contest ends Nov. 30. A panel of judges, which includes jewelry industry and fashion experts, will review entries. The grand prizewinner will be selected based upon the originality and creativity of their response. The winner will then have the opportunity to choose from more than 30 ensembles of fine jewelry including lustrous pearls and vibrant colored stone designs that make up the collection.

The contest began on October 1 and the winner will be announced by Dec. 31.

Jill Zvaigzne, the award-winning designer behind the Ze collection, says that she believes the publication is an appropriate vehicle to promote her line.

“We want to introduce young women to fine jewelry and Lucky is on the threshold of our target market,” says Zvaigzne. “We believe as those young women in their twenties reach their thirties, forties, and even fifties, the Ze collection will have established itself as a jewelry line they look to for style, versatility, and comfort in the ever changing world of fashion.”
