The VincenzaOro First show will host a high-level seminar
about Corporate Social Responsibility in the jewelry industry, conducted by the
World Jewellery Confederation Education Foundation.
The seminar will take place at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 16, in the
Palladio Room at the Fiera di Vicenza, in the Italian jewelry center of
Vicenza. It will be the first CSR program conducted by WJCEF in Italy and the
first-ever seminar conducted by WJCEF within the framework of a trade
Those conducting the seminar include: Dr. Gaetano
Cavalieri, president of CIBJO; Jocelyn Fenard, chief of partnerships and
resource mobilization of the United Nations Institute for Training and
Research; Dr. Hanifa Mezoui, a UNITAR fellow and president of the UN-NGO-IRENE
association; and Dr. François Loriot, vice president of AIFOMD.
Also addressing the seminar will be Dr. Roberto Ditri,
president of Fiera di Vicenza; Irene Pivetti, the former president of the
Italian Chamber of Deputies and president of the Learn to Be Free association;
and Pilar Coin, the president of the Women’s Jewellery Association of Italy.
