WJA Announces 3rd Annual March Is Me Month Campaign

Share

The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) announced its third annual March Is Me Month campaign, an initiative with the goal of empowering women to purchase fine jewelry for themselves. Supported for the second year in a row by the JCK Industry Fund, the campaign was developed in collaboration with more than 30 members of WJA’s Women’s Executive Leadership Forum.

Officially rolling out March 1, 2022, the campaign—which coincides with Women’s history Month and International Women’s Day (March 8)—calls on every woman to celebrate herself by visiting a retail jeweler and treating herself to a piece of fine jewelry, no matter the reason.

Companies in the jewelry and watch supply chain are encouraged to utilize the March Is Me Month logo, taglines, and brand guide in their March advertising campaigns. Any fine jewelry product, as well as a company’s own brand message, can be included with the logos. All marketing materials have been refreshed for 2022, thanks to support from Citizen Watch America.

Companies wishing to participate must become a WJA member. Throughout the month of March, WJA will reshare March Is Me Month social media posts, videos, and stories by participating companies on Instagram and Facebook. With its grant from the JCK Industry Fund, WJA is able to extend participation and share its marketing materials free of charge; all marketing collateral is available on its website.

“Each year, the JCK Industry Fund provides grants to projects that will have the most sustainable impact to improve the growth and health for the industry at large,” says Sarin Bachmann, group vice president for RX Jewelry Group. “The JCK Industry Fund is proud to support WJA’s March Is Me Month initiative, as one of our deserving grant recipients, which aims to empower women to purchase fine jewelry for themselves and inspire even greater jewelry demand.”
