WJA’s Annual Jewelry Night Out Will Take Place in 20 Cities

The Women’s Jewelry Association (WJA) will host its seventh annual WJA Jewelry Night Out on Sept. 12 in more than 20 U.S. cities.

WJA Jewelry Night Out, a party and networking event, welcomes designers, retailers, marketers, appraisers, salespeople, manufacturers, and members of the media and jewelry and watch industry organizations.

Other cities will be added closer to the event, but Jewelry Night Out parties are already planned for Atlanta; Austin, Texas; Boston; Chicago; Cincinnati; Houston; Lake Oswego, Ore.; Lakewood, Colo.; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Madison, Wis.; Miami; New York; Philadelphia; Providence, R.I.; Raleigh, N.C.; San Diego; San Francisco; Seattle; and Minneapolis.

In addition to networking (and good, old-fashioned fun), the parties offer new WJA members who sign up at the events a 25% discount on the $175 membership fee; and existing members a 10% discount on their $150 renewal fee.

Current and prospective members who can’t attend a live event can still access discounted membership rates in September through the organization’s WJA Connect online platform, where members “meet” to collaborate, share knowledge, and build relationships. See more details on that, and membership month, here.

WJA president Jenny Luker said in a statement that the annual party is designed to be “a collective celebration that inspires camaraderie and builds excitement in our chapters.” She added, “As we celebrate the growing recognition of women’s achievements in the jewelry industry, our annual Jewelry Night Out ensures that all of our members get a chance to network.”

Jewelry Night Out’s parties are sponsored locally, but lead sponsors of the event are Kay Jewelers, Zales, Piercing Pagoda, and Jared, and Signet Jewelers.
