WJA Awards for Excellence Winners

The Women’s Jewelry Association recognized
11 industry leaders during its 27th Annual Awards for Excellence Gala on July 26 at Pier 60 in New
York City. A crowd of over 500 attendees raised funds for the WJA scholarships
and grants program during the Silent Auction Reception and celebrated the
accomplishments of award recipients and nominees.

Susan Jacques, president and CEO of Borsheims in Omaha, Neb., received WJA’s
2010 Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award.

James Courage, CEO of Platinum Guild International (PGI), accepted the WJA Ben
Kaiser

Award.

JCK Events and JCK Magazine was honored with the Corporate Award for Excellence in recognition
of its longtime support for women in the jewelry industry. “

The evening’s silent auction
