Avi Paz, president of the World Federation of
Diamond Bourses called upon all stakeholders in the Kimberley Process to
cooperate in working towards a solution to the Marange Mine issue that would be
viable and acceptable to all sides. ??
Paz also issued a stern warning in a statement to
members of the industry that diamonds originating from Marange should not be
purchased until approved by the Kimberley Process Working Group on
Monitoring. He cautioned that any
member found doing so would be subject to WFDB disciplinary procedures.
