The Wedding Ring Shop of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Tacori named
Teresa Batungbacal the 2011 Ultimate Tacori Girl on May 14.
The contest took place largely on Twitter. In May, the Wedding Ring Shop asked ten contestants, who were chosen based on their retweets of the original tweet, to describe why they love Tacori and
why they are a Tacori Girl.
They were also asked Tacori and The Wedding Shop
trivia, participated in a talent show, and tossed carrots into a six-foot Tacori
engagement ring.
Lana Boutros, director of sales for Tacori; Stephen
Alexander, senior vice president of sales for Tacori; and Michael Han,
president and owner of The Wedding Ring Shop, were contest judges.
Batungbacal won a $1,000 Tacori engagement ring.
