Trends Forecast: Happily Ever After

Last week our featured trend was Cloudy Colors on the Horizon, this week we focus on Happily Ever After.

Tim Burton’s latest film Alice in Wonderland has inspired a bevy of new collections from designers all over the world. From Russia to France to Brazil, fans of jewelry and fairytales have ample opportunities to show their affinity for fantasy through some newly launched lines. Jewellery Theatre’s Fairytales, H.Stern’s Alice in Wonderland, and a 150th anniversary collection of animal themes at Chopard are literal interpretations while a mushroom-esque line of dreamy-looking silver rings from Leaderline are more abstract.

The limited-edition, 10-piece, special-order Alice in Wonderland collection of rings features miniature sculptures of fantasy objects in 18k gold, enamel, precious stones, and more. H.Stern for Disney, New York; (800) 747-8376; www.hstern.com.br.
