Tiffany & Co. said Monday that it plans to open a store in Tucson, Ariz., in fall 2006. The 4,000 sq.-ft. store will be located at La Encantada, a premier retail center owned by The Macerich Company, parent company of Westcor Shopping Centers.
Tiffany’s new store will offer TIFFANY & CO. collections, including the jeweler’s engagement diamonds and jewels of ultimate glamour in platinum and eighteen-karat gold settings; pearls; fashion jewelry and watches, including the Tiffany Mark(TM); the signature designs of Elsa Peretti, Paloma Picasso and Jean Schlumberger; as well as accessories, china, and crystal gifts.
“Tucson, and La Encantada specifically, is a perfect location for us,” said Beth O. Canavan, executive vice president of Tiffany & Co. “The center is designed in the traditional mission style with indigenous materials and surrounded by the desert’s natural beauty, which reflects Tiffany’s own design heritage that is rooted in the American landscape. We think residents and the many tourists drawn to Tucson’s world-class resorts and outdoor lifestyle will appreciate this heritage, and the quality and craftsmanship that has sustained it for generations.”
