Tiffany Launches Designer Grant

Tiffany & Co. joined the CDFA/Vogue Fashion Fund for a
three-year partnership with a $1 million gift, it announced May 25.

A one-time $250,000 business development grant will
be awarded to a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund jewelry designer alumna who best
demonstrates the ability to develop designs as an independent entity. The
Tiffany & Co. Grant supports the designer based on current need.

Applications have been sent to nine jewelry designers who
participated in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund since its inaugural year in 2004.

A committee that includes Tiffany & Co. chairman and
CEO, Mike Kowalski; Anna Wintour, editor in chief of Vogue; Filipa Fino, the
senior accessories editor of Vogue; and Steven Kolb, the executive director of
CFDA, will review submissions.

Applicants must submit information on their creative vision
for their brand and current collection, as well as a portfolio and financial
information, including the intended use for the grant. Applications for
the grant are being accepted through July 8.
