Tiffany & Co. said Thursday that its shareholders elected Lawrence K. Fish and Peter W. May to its board of directors. They join seven incumbent directors who were re-elected.
Fish, 63, is chairman of Royal Bank of Scotland America and chairman of Citizens Financial Group, Inc. May, 65, is president and a founding partner of Trian Partners, a New York-based investment management firm.
They are replacing William R. Chaney and James E. Quinn. Chaney is retiring as Tiffany director of the company. Quinn continues to serve as its president.
Voting on two other matters at the annual meeting, shareholders approved the appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the independent registered public accounting firm to audit the company’s consolidated financial statements for fiscal year 2008 and approved the adoption of the 2008 Directors Equity Compensation Plan.
