Three Charged in Md. Jeweler Robbery

Three men have been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a Maryland jewelry store March 30.

According to a Howard County police press release, on March 30, three armed men entered Edward Arthur Jewelers in Columbia, Md. The men displayed a gun and demanded jewelry from a case. The employees complied and the suspects fled the store with approximately $300,000 worth of high-end watches. No one was injured as a result of the robbery.

Police released photos of the suspects March 31 and asked the public to help identify the men. A citizen called the police and provided information about the suspects March 31. Upon further investigation, police arrested the men.

Deontaye Harvey, Gary Braxton, and Aaron Pratt were charged with armed robbery, robbery first- and second-degree assault, use of a handgun in the commission of a felony, reckless endangerment, and theft, according to the press release.

They are being held at the Howard County Detention Center. Harvey is being held without bond, and Braxton and Pratt are being held on a $250,000 bond.
