Thomas van der Kallen named president of Ebel

Movado Group Inc. appointed Thomas van der Kallen as president of Ebel, responsible for worldwide sales and marketing of this global luxury watch brand. He will join the Company in mid-January and will report directly to Efraim Grinberg, president and CEO of Movado Group, Inc.

van der Kallen, 41, joins Movado Group with more than ten years of brand management experience from luxury conglomerate, Compagnie Financière Richemont SA (“Richemont”). Most recently, he served as president of Piaget North America. He joined Richemont in 1990 as Director of Sales and Marketing for Piaget and Baume & Mercier for the Netherlands and Scandinavia. From 1998 to 2002, van der Kallen focused his efforts exclusively on the Baume & Mercier brand, initially as vice president of marketing and ultimately as president of Baume & Mercier North America.
