Colored stone ring manufacturer C. Priolo has been acquired by The Touch. C. Priolo has moved its operation from California to The Touch’s Waltham, Mass., studio.

C. Priolo offers more than two hundred styles in 14K white, yellow, and pink gold, as well as in 18K and platinum by special order. The Touch will be offering this line in sterling silver.

All designs feature a stone or several stones as the central element. This acquisition will balance their merchandising mix of The Touch, according to a statement.

The Touch was founded in 1977 by two lifelong friends, Ira Steven Bernstein and George Edward Simpson. They design under the Steven Edward name.
