The Plumb Club—the New York–based coalition of suppliers in all facets of the jewelry, diamond, and watch sectors—appointed new leadership at its recent general membership meeting.
Sam Sandberg, chairman of A. Jaffe, a brand founded in 1892, will become the club’s new president. He will succeed the term-limited Michael Lerche, president of Goldstar Jewellery. Lerche will remain on the Plum Club board as a past president.
In other changes, Roger Forman, owner of Marathon Co., a children’s jewelry manufacturer, will leave his role as treasurer and assume the title of vice president.
Corinna Bhasin, vice president and general manager of FD Worldwide Merchandise Group, a merchandising and manufacturing supply partner to jewelry retailers, has taken on the role of treasurer, leaving her position as secretary.
Keven Peck, president and founder of the jeweler Color Merchants/Brevani, has been named secretary.
And Victor Weinman, president of Original Designs/ODI, a 60-year-old diamond bridal and fashion jewelry company, will remain Plumb Club Pavilion chair.
Ray Mastoloni, owner of Mastoloni Pearls, and Alok Mehta, president of IDD, have also been appointed to the board. They will join current board members Kristie Nicolosi, president and CEO of the Kingswood Co.; Pranav Shah, CEO of KGS Jewels; and A.J. Tosyali, president of Benchmark Wedding Rings.
Roopam Jain, president of Renaissance Global, has left the board; he had reached his term limit.
