Texas Jewelry Store Gives Out $15,000 Ring at Scavenger Hunt Event

Bachendorf’s, a jewelry store based in Texas, held its second annual Diamond Dash contest on March 31.

The event challenged couples to compete in a scavenger hunt, by foot or bicycle, across Dallas. Duos answered trivia questions via text messages in order to receive points and treasure hunt clues. At the end of the event, Brett Hoelting and Lauren Lawson, the couple with the most points, won a Ritani ring valued at $15,000. The second and third place team also received a prize and all participants went home with a gift bag and Bachendorf’s gift card.

When the scavenger hunt was over, the 200 couples that participated in the event retired to the House of Blues in Dallas for the awards ceremony and after-party.

“We had a great turnout,” Wendy Kleinsorge, director of marketing for Bachendorf’s, said in a statement. “It is a fun way to promote bridal wear.”
