Swarovski has collaborated with costume designer Eric Daman to create the online reality series The Daman Chronicles.
The reality show will follow Daman across New York City during photo shoots, television show research, and social gatherings with friends.
Cambio, a leading online entertainment platform for teens and young adults, will distribute the web series beginning June 19.
To promote the series premiere, Swarovski and Cambio have launched the “Dress as Your Favorite Gossip Girl” contest, encouraging fans to upload photos to Twitter and Instagram for a chance to win the Rocket Necklace from Swarovski’s summer jewelry collection.
“We are thrilled long-time friend of the brand, Eric Daman, is starring in Swarovski’s original content,” Livia Marotta, director of communications for Swarovski CGB NA, said in a statement. “Like Swarovski, Eric is very adept at bringing luxury aesthetics to the mainstream, which is what we are aiming to do with this entertaining and engaging web series and interactive program.”
