Police in Vernon, Connecticut are investing an attempted
robbery of Dunbar Jewelers that involved the suspects breaking through a wall
in an adjoining vacant store, according to a local news report.
According to the report, the suspects allegedly cut a hole
in the roof of the vacant store next to the jewelers and attempted to hack
through the sheet rock wall between the two stores. The suspects fled after the store alarm sounded. Nothing was taken from the store.
