Jewelers Mutual Insurance Chooses GEMINI Software by MPI Systems for their Salvage and Recovery Division

GEMINI by MPI Systems was chosen by Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company to manage their salvage and recovery division.

“This system met many of our needs right out of the box without a lot of customizing and is simple to use,” said Amy Helein, Graduate Gemologist salvage specialist at Jewelers Mutual, in a statement. “Their staff is friendly and always available if we have any questions.”

The software helps to control inventory and items, including business analytical reporting with imaging and bar coding. The Pro version includes features for jewelry manufacturers.

“We are honored that Jewelers Mutual Insurance Company has opted for GEMINI for their own business needs,” said Annette Schwarz Kaye, vice president of MPI Systems.

Silver Promotion Service Presents Gifts to Traditional Home Magazine’s 2011 Classic Woman Honoree

On Nov. 7, this year’s Traditional Home Classic Woman honorees were honored at a luncheon at New York’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

Each of the five women were presented with an award and a check from Traditional Home by Ann Maine, editor in chief, and Natalie Morales of NBC, who served as co-host of the event.

The presentations followed videos describing each honoree’s area of volunteerism. At the close of the luncheon, Michael Barlerin, SPS director, congratulated the women on their exceptional work and gifted each with a sterling silver cuff from American Estate Jewelry.

Adwar Releases New Catalog

Adwar Casting Company released their newest catalog, Collection #25.  The latest collection features all new engagement sets, semi-mounts, stackable rings, designer collections, colored stone series, earrings, jackets, and pendants. 

All of their styles are available in 14k or 18k gold, in white, yellow, pink, or green. The company also casts in platinum, palladium, and 18k palladium.

Adwar also introduced its newly updated CAD/CAM modeling department, which specializes in model outputs and designs.
