Annoushka to Make U.S. Debut at Saks Fifth Avenue

Designer Annoushka Ducas, who crafts her pieces in small quantities including many limited editions, has made her One of a Kind and Annoushka/24 collections exclusive to the retailer.

“They appreciate fine craftsmanship and understated elegance,” said Ducas of the Saks and Annoushka client similarities. “My jewelry is refined, yet individual and very pretty. Women can wear lots of it without feeling self-conscious.”

Teva Relaunches Website With Online Clarity-Enhanced Diamond Course

Dallas-based Teva Diamonds announced the redesign of its website, which incorporates an online educational system. The new resource center includes the industry’s first online course for jewelers on clarity-enhanced diamond sales, as well as articles on clarity-enhanced diamonds in today’s marketplace, their margins, and pricing.

“Retail jewelers and consumers now have a huge educational database to ensure confidence, disclosure, and tools to sell clarity-enhanced diamonds,” said the company in a press release. The new website also offers a real-time inventory selection of both diamonds and jewelry.

GSI Debuts Joy Box CampaignGSI Joy Box campaign team

The Gemological Science International (GSI) has debuted its Joy Box campaign, a social initiative for the charitable foundation Each One Each One, which aims to help underprivileged children in Mumbai, India.

GSI collected school supplies, children’s clothes, and other contributions from Hari Krishna Diamonds, Moksh Jewellers, and Fashion Exim, among others. “It gives me immense pleasure to be part of this campaign initiated by the GSI staff,” said CEO Mark Gershburg in a press release. “I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the contributors from the gems and jewelry industry and to GSI employees specifically for playing a key role in this endeavor.”
