J.R. Dunn Jewelers Raises Over $2 Million for Local Charity

Florida-based jeweler J.R. Dunn recently announced that it has amassed over $2.2 million in charitable funds, a culmination of 21 years of its annual Dunn’s Run. The event, a 5K run/walk benefiting the Boys and Girls Clubs of Broward County, is held each year on the first Sunday of October.

Since the event was founded, it has reportedly become of the largest races in the tricounty area, welcoming competitive runners and families alike, with the option for a children’s fun-run as well. Its fundraising has gone to help children ages 6 to 17 develop skills and values through services and programs such as social recreation, health and physical education, leadership and citizenship development, cultural enrichment, and more.
